Hi, my name is Jenn Tavoletti. I am a self-taught stay-at-home mom, I mean artist...although I think the mom part is much harder! I have been married for 15 years now to a wonderful and very handsome man...Dino (who is also very supportive!) We have a crazy beautiful daughter named Lydia Sarah. She is 7 going on 20 and I thank God everyday for her.
I am a self-taught folk artist specializing in hand-made primitives. I collect old pincushions, pockets, needlebooks...any old sewie I love! I am an avid gardener and love English cottage gardens the best. My favorite gardener is Tasha Tudor and dream of seeing her gardens some day!
I sell my wares out of a wonderful and so primitive antique store here in Pennsylvania called ~1824 Antiques~ 1824antiques.com. My dear friends David and Audrey own the shop and are in the process of moving Audrey's Great Great Great Grandfathers 1824 post and beam home to their property. It's very exciting! I have been on Ebay for a little over two years now selling under the name ~primitiveandneedfulthings~. It has been nothing but a positive adventure. I have met so many nice fellow ebayers and friends! I try and list something new a few times a month.
Everything on this site ~except the olde things~ have been hand made by me and will be signed and dated. I enjoy incorporating antiques and old textiles in my work and try to do so often.
