Vintage Die Cut Turkey

This vintage harvest die cut turkey was sold in dime stores as decorations in the 60's. Marked Made in USA ~ maybe Beistle or Dennison?? I couldn't find any info on him. I was told that this Tom was a bit unusual being so black with no colors in his feathers. Measures slightly over 8 inches high by 7 inches wide. He was never used but has a fold mark from the way he was stored....if you enlarge the pic you will see the fold starts behind his head. It is slight...if you flip it over you can't see the fold at all.

Antique Ginger Jar
This is so primitive...a lovely old advertising piece. I added a bit of corn cob and scraps of blue calico and cheesecoth around the rim. Lots of wear but has a wonderful look and is tough despite the old cracks...I pressed hard on them with no problems. 7 inches tall not counting the cob. 3 inches in diameter. $18.00 plus travel
